I really enjoyed this book, I didn't love it but I enjoyed it. It was a nice easy listen. I liked Mercy aka Mercedes Thompson, the heroine in this book. She wasn't over the top bad ass but was confident enough in herself, knowing that she's not a wimp but strong. There was werewolves, fae and vampires all introduced in this book. Mercy is a coyote or walker, which is almost an extinct species. She's also a car mechanic. She was raised by wolves (werewolves), the most prominent pack in the U.S. at that. We are able to learn a little about her background and especially her relationship with Sam. Adam is very intriguing. He is the Alpha of the local wolf pack. There is definitely some serious sparks flying between those two and I can't wait to see how it unfolds. There wasn't much different from the typical UF books. Conflict, fighting, mystery, murder, possible love interest and conflict resolved with a little left open for the future. The narrator did a great job, no complaints there.
